Senior Engineer (Former Employee) –  Aiken, SCSeptember 12, 2018
Management needs more seminars on how to treat employees. People don't leave because of benefits they leave because they don't feel appreciated. If they don't want to continue a contractor they don't respect them enough to call them, the just send them an e-mail letting them know. It is very impersonal. I would not recommend this company as a place to work.

Typical contract job for a good contract company. Contract jobs have time limits. Experience in the limiting factor here as 10 - 15 years of Nuclear waste remediation is difficult to get.

I've contracted through Edgewater on several occasions and have nothing but great things to say about the experience. I would recommend this company to anyone that has the opportunity. I would definitely work for them when a position fits.

Records Administrator, Training Department (Former Employee) –  Carlsbad, NMNovember 24, 2017
This is a temporary employment agency. Reviewed records for completeness and entered them into two different databases. Pulled records for review by either trainers, managers, auditors or employees and then refiled the records. Qualified as a Records Coordinator at the WIPP site.

Document Control Specialist 3 (Current Employee) –  Los Alamos, NMSeptember 13, 2017
they only supply workforce and do not offer any career advancement or notify you of any positions in your area without checking the corporate website. They should at least let you know if a position is coming available at your location. Very small town

Technical Documentation Specialist Π (Current Employee) –  Los Alamos, NMJuly 10, 2017
The work is great, met lots of new people. Gained lots of experience and learned new things such as gathering information. The work experience helped me get my foot in the door with Los Alamos national Laboratory. The only struggling thing is the commute from Albuquerque to Los Alamos every day.

As an "employee leasor" for staff augmentation subcontract, Edgewater was a good employer... up until the subcontract ended. Within hours of the subcontract ending, I was released by Edgewater via e-mail.
