They need to hire more leaders! Almost anyone can be a manager, but you lead by example (I believe) and my former management team didn't...they are horrible and have no clue of what we (as employees) do on a day to day basis. They just wanted everyone to focus on selling a device called Poynt, which was released before it should have been and to this very day, it's still not able to process gift cards...unless that is on purpose to force customers to purchase 2 different pieces of equipment-which I wouldn't doubt.
Better compensation.New hires come in making more money then current workers that have the same college degree.
Management needs to hire better assistant managers. And ensure the managers are doing their job.
Be fair, if you allow telecommute work be universal across contractors and direct hires. Hold everyone accountable to the same standards for professionalism and job responsibilities.
