Productive, Fun workplace with ping pong table
Food Service Worker (Current Employee) –  Hamden, CTJanuary 10, 2019
I work at The Roost, which is a restaurant owned by Eli's. It's a really relaxed atmosphere. The managers are mostly really nice, it's it really great place to work currently. Great starting job.

Do not take a job in the catering sales department
Catering Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Hamden, CTJanuary 7, 2019
I left my position because my immediate manager was a horrible manager; no interpersonal skills, no leadership skills, and no consistency in the way she managed. She would pick and choose who had to follow company policy, and consistently change the way she expected things to be done. While I liked the actual work I did, as well as other employees, she made it a hostile environment most of the time.
Pros
Decent pay, daytime hours
Cons
The management

Laid back environment, good office energy for the most part
Sales & Catering Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Hamden, CTAugust 9, 2017
My co-workers allowed a laid back office environment. Only 3 females working in the sales department. Direct boss was a tough cookie. I learned a lot from her. The other 2 managers were always available to listen. I attempted to implement changes in the procedure of my position. They were open to it, but changes never did go into affect. Overall a good work environment. Overall good company to have worked for. I gained many new schools in my position. I mastered the position while working there, I also believe I turned it into a very streamline process the best that I could do, with the help of the delivery manager.
