If given a test try your best! Don’t go oh I don’t know your equipment so I won’t try. Had to turn down so many very qualified applicants because they didn’t try on the test. They think they can get hired off of the resume and interview alone. You can be the best tech don’t try and get 15% on the test. Vs an ok tech who really puts in effort and gets 75%. Can you guess who will get hired?
As with any job. Dress the part and have some kind of mechanical know how

Don't go to the interview. You can do better! Run the other direction....
Get it all in writing before signing anything. Negotiate.

Safety consciousness and be prepared to walk the talk. Continuous Improvement and Quality are areas to highlight. Finally ELS ptovides superior customer service
When interviewing for Elite Line Services roles, always think Safety and how you impact the Safety Culture at your current or past organizations. Secondly, think Customer-Focus. How do you deal with difficult customers? How do you communicate project hiccups to stakeholders? Finally, related to customer-focus, discover what a true 'sense of urgency' means to you. How do you physically feel when your area of responsibility is not going the way it is supposed to and your customer becomes adversely impacted? Anxious? Motivated? A little sick to the stomach? You should be driven to 'make it right' not just 'make it work.' ELS wants employees that want to show their value in big and impactful ways. Bring your best examples to the interview.

If you are tall and white, a hunter, love your guns, and swear a lot during the interview you'll get hired
