Manufacturing Engineer in Sidney, OH

Great local company to work for. Lots of opportunities to learn in any role you get, and there is a strong emphasis on career development in most groups. If you eventually want to explore a different role in the company, most managers will support you if you communicate with them. Pay is okay, but benefits are pretty solid. Great 401k match.Hybrid/remote work and flex hours are nice if it's common in your group, and your type of work is flexible enough for it.

Often lied to employees regarding overtime. Outsourced higher paying jobs instead of using the bidding process to advance current employees. Pay is decent though. Good work environment and the people there are friendly but overall I wouldn’t suggest.

Even if you perform, and have continuous over achievements when it comes to promotion they won't appear as a result of your work but rather as a result of asking and continuous follow up on management, which might be quite frustrating or maybe as a tentative to retain you when you have another offer - which might be a little too late.

No one really expects much from you. Show up, do enough to not get on anyones radar, collect a paycheck, and go home. Lack of trust in management in most aspects of the business.
