I've heard great stories of a good culture at Emerus. But, I haven't seen it yet. The employees try to keep up the culture, but if management isn't doing it, it's impossible to maintain. Everything we do is micromanaged. Additionally, they put managers in a bad position of having to go back to employees and tell them that promises will not be kept.

The facilities are so small, front office, doctor, radiology tech, 2-3 nurses and a paramedic... the work environment and culture are what YOU make it.
The work environment at Emerus Corporate has rapidly declined in the past year or so. With the change in CEO's and upper mgmt, there is no personal connection and the pressure that has rolled down to middle management is taking a toll on everyone. The stress levels are up, people are leaving and it's just not the Emerus it used to be.
Favortism, bullying, missed hours on paycheck. When first hired you are made to feel great. You will be picked on for every single mistake. You will not feel secure at this company. A lot of cliques like high school. Less pay for nurses.
