At EmpRes Healthcare, we are privileged to work alongside the most giving of healthcare providers and to care for the most vulnerable members of society – including victims of violence, hatred, and discrimination. As a company, we reject all forms of intolerance. At over 5,300 employee-owners strong, we are committed to ensuring that the skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, home health, hospice, and home care providers under our umbrella continue to be a safe place for all people to provide and receive care.
The health of every community we serve must be measured by how we care for and treat our neighbors. I believe this starts with mutual respect for one another and valuing our differences.
EmpRes remains dedicated to a culture and environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and safe for everybody. We are proud to have a workforce that includes different races, ethnicities, backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientation, gender, and disability status. Together, we have an opportunity to play a leading role in healing each of the communities we serve. By embracing change, and walking forward arm-in-arm, we have the opportunity to make a real difference. To make this happen, we must remain committed to being part of the solution.
As always, I stand in awe of our EmpRes Family’s humanity, skill, dedication, bravery, and innovation. Please stay safe and keep on loving your neighbors, residents, and fellow owners.

Treated Certified Med Aid II's like a door mat. Made the CMA pass meds to the whole building all day. When asked for help was told that there wasn't any for the med tech. Would work you until you were really sick, then get mad if you called off due to over working. Also would make you stay and work if you were vomiting or were super sick and tell you that no one can cover. Also blamed everything on Med Tech no matter whether it was that person's fault or not.
This place is a terrible. They don’t have enough briefs or supplies for residence. It smells horribly bad the residence rooms are filthy, dirty. The wages are terrible for what you have to put up with. The equipment lifts shower rooms are just gross. The management just sits around in their offices when the staff struggles. I’ve worked days with being the only CNA in the building. You’re lucky if the kitchen staff shows up. Their health benefits are terribly expensive and you can’t buy them on the wages. I would never recommend working for them. There’s better jobs.
Horrible place to work. The patients and coworkers are miserable and neglected.Horrible place to work. Please do not waste your time with these people.
Lets be honest! With any healthcare jobs there are pros and cons to them all. There will be people you like and some that you don't, but what you should try and remember is that no matter what you are there for one sole purpose and that is to insure that the residents are taken care of to the best of your ability. All facilities have good bad and indifferent but if you are there for the care of the residents then its a good place to work. My only advise is try not to get caught up in any of the drama that tends to come with working in health care setting and just take good care of the residents.
Facility mgmt and corporate support needs for training, facility LN and CNAs are awesome! Residents are happy and get great care, CNAs and LN attentive to needs. I’m a new RN to MFWHR and have observed growth and positive atmosphere. All staff here have been welcoming, mgmt supportive. I have no regrets joining this team as they move forward to become a 5 star building. I witness blessings from CNA team work daily. Employee owned, awesome benefits, welcomes relocating staff! You won’t be disappointed! Come to beautiful NE Oregon, join our family of residents and staff.
