I resigned from this company because of the drama/ politics played by upper management and staff members that kiss up to them. This company main focus is quantity not QUALITY! Everything is about making a dollar even if ipatients care is jeopardize. Most staff members complained about being under paid but over work. At some point one will realize it’s not that important to become great at something that has no meaning to Life. I decided I would have rather work for a company that is loyal to patient care and their employees.

I walked in to find the Branch Director and an Area Manager mocking my voice (I was extremely I'll at the time and being tested for cancers) and discussing who they could replace me with as soon as they could get rid of me.

Had a bully DON that would try to intimidate everyone. Severely understaffed with high acuity patients and supplies under lock and key. Very frequent callouts from staff and no one else to call in to work. Staff did not work together. Our house MD frequently slept in his car with his hand in his pants and would get angry if you botheted him. If you value your license do not go there. Sarasota FL.

Worked at HealthSouth a very short time, at first everyone was so nice and then the drama started always at the nurses station. All of upper Mangement knew but choose to turn there head. Rules only apply when it's convenient for them. From the very top to bottom in management is bad news. Stay away from Bristol HealthSouth. All the good employees have done quiet and some others looking for work else where.

After seeing the inside of this company I would not bring my dog here for rehab. They talks about patient's like they are God and they pick and choose who to help. I will make sure everyone in the community know not to take their parents or love one to Health South in Florence, SC.I want say all doctors there are nasty but there is one I will not let him ever touch my mother. I hope McLeod buy them out and put them out of business. At least at McLeod they will have quality training.
