Use fully licensed and degreed therapists for tpms NOT ptas or cotas or techs. Put some money into managing your therapy programs at the patient care level. It's disrespectful and insulting for therapists with master's and PhD degrees to be subject to supervision by people who have associate degrees.

Ashamed. Other therapists would ask me "you don't work for THEM do you?"

Answered August 24, 2019

Because they don't treat employees with dignity or respect.

No holiday pay or day off for hourly or salary- must work holiday is unless you can get coverage which is pretty much impossible due to no PRN staff. Expensive medical insurance- barely a benefit. Front loaded PTO but must be able to work 40 hours a week to receive which is quite difficult in current SNF environments and again good luck getting it approved due to no PRN staff. Low wages- not competitive for the current market. Really poor in comparison to other companies. No raises. 401k benefits don’t set in until 1000 hours of work.

Answered May 24, 2019

They are desperate due to their low wages and awful benefits so it was easy.

Answered May 24, 2019

They promise Full time then push you to unethically pick up patients that do not need services in order to get your hours.

Read all of these suggestions and follow them to the letter and you will see your company blossom and grow. Right this very moment I personally know of 2 other companies who have their eyes set on obtaining all your contracts and they are not being slow about it.

Answered February 1, 2020

Never! Rates, even for PRN staff are considerably lower than market.

Constant pressure and micromanaging. They tell you to pick up patients that are not appropriate for treatment and attempt to justify it without the knowledge to do so. Regional Vice Presidents are young and don’t have the background to dictate.
