Poorly managed company with management a joke. They come in 2-3 hours late,go to meeting and try to push more of their responsibility to staff.Pat themselves on the back, take a long lunch break and then leave early.

Turn around and run. DON is a joke, supervisors never help, always short staff and a bunch of back stabbers. Nurses at Conway Ensign will become friendly with you then they spend everyday in DON office and pushes the knife in harder. This nurse wanted my FT day shift. Not a good company to work for.

I think that all healthcare positions are stressful but I feel that with the support of the managers you can work through those stressful times. I think the training that is offered helps employees in managing the stress as you are better trained to handle the situation.

There are too many to narrow to just one! So here goes....
Unfair treatmeant of employee's at Timberwood. If you're not in the DON's clique, you won't make it. The DON in short is a bully. Example: a nurse was not comfortable preforming a procedure, and she expressed that to the (at the time) "acting don". DON became irritated with her and told her in a snarky tone "if you can't do it, we'll have to pay to send patient to the ER". The tone used implied she was going to be angry if patient had to be sent to ER. ( and DON herself couldn't do it, because she didn't have her RN at the time because she failed her boards...twice) so this nurse did attempt procedure, and patient DIED! And the "acting don" at the time threw other nurse under the bus, saying "I told her not to" and when the TBON questioned her, she said "how can an LVN give an RN orders? Which she did, she didn't have the DON title at the time, but admn let her be "acting DON".....
If you care about your liciense, don't risk it by working for this place.
