How did you feel about telling people you worked at Entercom Communications Corp.?
Felt good to tell people I worked for Entercom because Radio was a dream of mine from a very young age.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Entercom Communications Corp.?
Be sure to have a real job do you can afford to volunteer at EnterCon
What is the work environment and culture like at Entercom Communications Corp.?
Very long days, that are more like roller coasters. Some days can be great and some you don't know what you will be walking into.
On average, how many hours do you work a day at Entercom Communications Corp.?
Between 9 and 15 depending on what you get roped into at the end of the day. Picky Program Directors will often wait until right before you leave to dump something on you, whether that be spot fixes, emergency radio imaging, or oddball projects they forgot about and need right now. The station never sleeps, and you're expected in production to basically be on-call at all times.
You never know from day to day when your position will end. They lay people off like it's a bodily function.
