Had fun interning here and they really teach you how to take that next step and become a Management Trainee. You do all of the necessary work that the Management Trainee does on a daily basis.

Great people, advancement not as available as advertised
Management Assistant (Current Employee) –  Santa Monica, CASeptember 18, 2018
I've worked with some great people but the opportunities for advancement are only there for certain people. After 3 years, it became very clear that I had no future at the company, so I moved on.
Pros
Great people and culture
Cons
Less and less benefits as time has gone on...

Great place to learn a lot quickly
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Pompano Beach, FLSeptember 13, 2018
My advice would be to get in and learn as much as possible, then find something with a better work-life balance. The expectation is that you will continue to work 10-12 hour days, and be completely bought into the Enterprise culture.

Sr. Car Sales (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CASeptember 11, 2018
Great, easy going job. Typical day on the job is fairly easy, management is great and the culture is very driven. Hardest part of the job is customer related situations and most enjoyable is very flexible with hours.
Pros
Flexible hours, free lunches (occasionally)
Cons
Not enough pay

Definitely a grind, but can be worth it
Management Assistant (Former Employee) –  Tacoma, WASeptember 11, 2018
Everyone will mention the work/life balance, but you honestly accomplish so much in one day. It is a grind but you're in it together with your team. Great benefit options, and PTO. You do learn alot besides selling protections, but what you do learn there can ultimately take you in so many directions after. You make quality connections with the people around you in and out of Enterprise, and the day goes by fast.
Pros
Relationships with coworkers, competitive pay, good PTO/Benefits
Cons
Work/Life balance, Management depending on the area you're in

Frat Boy Culture
Management Trainee (Former Employee) –  Denver, COSeptember 11, 2018
Enterprise is a frat boy culture company where people chug red bull and trick people into buying insurance. Everything is about upselling and never about whats right for people.

Really great company but rough work life balance
Branch Manager (Current Employee) –  Virginia Beach, VASeptember 6, 2018
Really great work culture, very fast paced. Management start from the bottom so highly manageable. Work life balance is the hardest with the company. Really great support and a large array of resources as your disposal.

Good for people who went to college on a sports scholarship
Assistant Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Wickliffe, OHSeptember 5, 2018
They seek out competitive people, so if you went to college on a sports scholarship and have no idea what you actually want to do with your life, this is great.

No work/life balance and unethical sales tactics.
MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (Former Employee) –  OhioSeptember 5, 2018
The minimum amount of working hours per week was 49 and using vacation days was extremely frowned upon. The office seemed to always need an additional employee to be hired but the nature of the company is to work less employees harder instead of hiring someone additional. The company was also ran with a cut-throat sales mentality that breaded unethical sales tactics used by employees in order to get ahead. This was not the job for me.
Cons
Rare lunch breaks, no work/life balance, cut-throat sales expectations

Outstanding Culture, Long Term Growth
Anonymous (Former Employee) –  NJSeptember 5, 2018
For the people who stick with Enterprise and perform at a high level to get promoted, this is a fantastic company. Nobody should go in expecting immediate advancement without hard work, so work ethic and drive to succeed is critical. The opportunities and the mentorship are outstanding, and the company culture is built on loyalty and performance.
Pros
Great culture, promote from within, significant training
Cons
Some opportunity in compensation and benefits areas
