Group activities outside of the office
Not only are there happy hours, but also group outings, such as annual Cubs Game and Holiday Party in Austin (however, I have a feeling that's coming to an end.)
Pros
Friday breakfast, Healthy as well as non-healthy snacks available, gym

Great company, outstanding benefits and valued employees
Very skilled managment, room to advance, employees are valued and compensated very well. Recognition is felt and shared in a "whole team" environment. A place where everyone's voice matters and you see change whenever most efficient, everyone is included and supported from top to bottom, changing with growth & growing with change.

Volatile work environment with no direction or training
Worst training program I have ever experienced. Management was ruthless, contradictory, over bearing, demanding, ridiculous, unprofessional. Worst place to work!

Great Place to Work
I was successful at Enverus because they supported my passion for the oil & gas industry. Leadership supported my prospecting throughout the sales process from contact to contract.

I worked remotely so I cannot say anything about the environment in the office.
I enjoyed working for Enverus and only left because of the downturn in the industry (RIF). The management was awesome and compensation was good. There were opportunities to learn more and the support system was good.

Stressful and Exhausting Growing Environment
With a fast-growing company like Enverus, the leadership is lost and detached from their teams. Making it difficult and stressful to grow with a leadership that doesn't provide the support, time, and resources needed to grow alongside the company. In an environment of opportunity, it is not encouraged to strive for more, but to play along without feeling like your voice is being heard.

Good experience
Relatively good experience with opportunity to grow. Learned SQL data management, managerial skills and the traits required to lead a team of engineers

Quality culture, people and work
I have found DI to be exceedingly easy culture to work in - teams are collaborative, people care about their jobs and want be a part of the company's growth. Leadership values employees and seems to want to solicit genuine feedback and put action around it.

Promotes benefits that you can’t use
DI uses benefits like unlimited PTO to try lure talent but they do not mention that use of this time is frowned upon, you’re slammed with work when you return, you need to have someone cover you when you leave, and you’re working overtime before you go. Work from home just means you work around the clock. Advancements are based on popularity and decisions are revenue driven, trading bad deals for worse only to end up in the same predicament that led to renegotiation in the first place.

Productive, fun work place
Drilling info was a great place to work at. You worked at your own pace. I was there for 8 yrs & would probably still be there if they wouldn't have closed the office down.

Great Company!
Very fast environment/culture but everyone has a smile on their face. If you work hard you will be rewarded. Nice work/life balance. Located in a great part of town.

Depending on your department, there's endless potential for personal growth.
Do what you can to get your foot in the door. Once you've done this there is room for advancement. Solid place to work, I miss it some days. Most managers allow you the room to make decisions and support and coach you through the bad ones. They would rather you make a mistake and learn from it than to refuse to make decisions out of fear.
Pros
Work flexibility. Solid management. Potential for EOY bonus depending on key metrics
Cons
Took many years before pay was near or above average for jobs

Good company to work for, though subject to the whims of the industry.
Good people, good management, good environment. Overall great place to work. Lot's of technology problems to explore and get immersed in. But you should have an interest in the O&G industry.

Avoid the revenue team
Long, intense hours every week. Bosses are demanding and will come down on you for mistakes or for not being faster even though you push hard, work long days, and have a low error margin
Pros
Your teammates that understand being overworked too
Cons
Cold leadership and exhausting workload

Lousy
Poor compensation and weak communication. Little room for growth, advancement, promotions, or bonuses. Boys' club. Almost no diversity. Technologically, an unorganized mess with crummy legacy. Products lack focus and quality, like the company as a whole. High turnover.

False promises
Leads new hires to false promises of promotion, raises, and future opportunities. Promotes horrible "Work hard play hard" culture which really means "Work hard, replace benefits with menial company outings"

Nothing to say
Momma said if you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all. The culture is great, laid back, lots of fun people. That's all I have to say about that.

Relaxed and comfortable work place
Company management changed drastically, and decided to take company in a new direction which did not involve the use of our department. Staff and work environment was very pleasant, and a great place to work.

Two teams (A and B) which didn't coordinate very well.
Very paranoid so two teams were formed ('A' team in-the-know. 'B' team out of the loop). A lot of duplicate work. Management and team always responding to the latest direction by CEO (who is very arrogant).

Cons
Managers kept changing or getting fired

Mediocre Office Job
DrillingInfo had friendly employees and great management. The work flow was quite slow and there were not many benefits. The job pay was below par, considering the location, tasks, and amount of money the company was making.
