Ive noticed that it really depends where you're working as to how you like your job. This makes me wonder how they get their mgt personal and their training. Their attitude might come from how their treated from their bosses. Being Retired Miltary , Im sure the biggest percentage of the good ones are also.

Initial ramp training was about 4 days and if you were at a small airport, it would be conducted in cities of major airports, then follow on training varied depending on specific needs and could be weeks. Outside of initial training most was done local as long as you had trainer certified in those specific subjects.

As far as fellow co-workers... Family oriented but you have to be careful of managers. Leads are "non-supervisory" but sometimes they forget that about their title.
