This company should come with a warning label - especially the Charlotte region.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Charlotte, NC – September 25, 2017
The hiring manager will promise the sun, moon and stars to entice you to accept the position - after being hired, it takes just a short while to see what a mess this company is. If you've ever worked for an excellent and reputable builder, you will find the EPCON values and culture appalling. The two top sales people there don't make anywhere near the salary EPCON advertises, and are treated as poorly as everyone else. The company employees and the sales team are a revolving door, with only two sales individuals having stayed longer than a year (likely because they have too much of money on the table to walk away from without a current opportune moment). Everyone appeared to be extremely stressed and miserable and the environment is toxic. The fact that EPCON can't keep good people around for more than a few mere months is a testament to what applicants are getting themselves into. There are so many wonderful builders out there... EPCON is not one of them. Do your research.
They provide standard health insurance benefits, but actually taking any allotted vacation is strongly discouraged.
They're desperate for good people, do your research, read reviews, talk to former employees, talk to current employees.
