Address problems amongst leadership rather than pretending they do not exist. Dysfunctional and personality disordered directors negatively impact all.
Stop taking on new projects. Work with staff to coordinate timelines and scheduling of current projects. Only take on new projects that fit in the schedule and have staff buy-in that they feel capable of supporting those timelines, or at least an understanding of who needs to be hired to support the new work. Plan some downtime to allow the organization to breathe between big projects and changes.
Continue the progress on acquiring suitable facilities, furnishing them appropriately. Make facility planning part of the equation when determining if you take on a new project and the timing of that project.
Train the HR department and Supervisors to keep employees and make that as much a value as taking care of the clients.
Invest in good software and technology - it will save in staff time and efficiency far more than it costs.
