Erickson does not care about doing right by it’s employees any longer. Confirmed acts of racism, homophobia are tolerated, swept under the rug and can actually get you a promotion. This company and it leaders have lost it’s way. One team is a joke and cross off a check box but is not practiced.

Go around and ask the nurses what will make things better. Ask the aids the same. Ask the dining room staff the same. Changes are constantly being made but everything in the past 2 yrs have only made things worse for everyone. I am a nurse in NJ. I dropped down to flex because coming home stressed 5 nights a week is unfair to my health and my family. Everyone used to give suggestions at the Towne Hall Meetings but we realized that we were only being pacified and no one evers listens to us (we're the ones doing the hard work!) .

I would probably leave due to the lack of job growth and the small pay raises we receive yearly. Besides those 2 reasons, my third and main reason would be the fact on how they use Security. They use us to fix Tv's, A/C's, plumbing, setup and break down events, calling residents doctors, delivering mail. Basically do it all gopher.

I hate it. I pray every day for a new job. My entire team is looking. I cannot wait until we all leave and I hope it is together.

Management was very understanding and generous with scheduling but that was also a problem because lots of people would call out and we ended up short-staffed almost everyday.

The CNA pay scale depends on your experience, and location. They do serve us in the area to stay competitive with other facilities. They pay very good to retain very good workers. In my opinion as a veteran CNA/CMA they pay very well plus all the benefits.
