Perpetuates the burnout

This school seems to struggle to hold on to administrators as they just had another principal quit. The teachers and staff are supportive of each other and their students, but admin is detached and unaware of the needs of the school community. Teachers are not unionized.

The concept seems ideal, but the heads of school do not know how to manage and motivate staff and they're losing quality teachers.

The community is great, the staff helps and supports each other. However, you're often left alone to deal with any issues that normally should be dealt with by administration. They are quick to distribute responsibilities onto teachers. They set their own schedules and are rarely at the school. Other than that, the school culture creates staff to become self sufficient.

I love working with the children at the school. I learn that the families and children thrive on positive relationships. Creating strong relationships are the way to succeed here .
