I loved working at Esker, but I didn't make the cut. I was given a fair chance, but software ultimately is not my wheelhouse, and at nearly 2 years, I was let go. I made all my bonuses, had great feedback from many customers, and was given a generous severance check. It was both devastating and a relief.
While all of my coworkers were great, some of the customers weren't.
