Not a secure job, they will cut you off without letting you know why.
After Hours Placement Manager (Former Employee) –  Thousand Palms, CAAugust 15, 2018
This is not a secure job, they will fire you for anything. Very cutthroat people will pass off as being your friend or being nice to you. Do not fall for it they will make sure you get in trouble. The only pros about this job is the pay and hours other than that I do not recommend this job at all.

Terrible management
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) –  Thousand Palms, CAMarch 31, 2018
Very shady pay. Quoted a different rate of pay then was received. Management insensitive to employees needs. Inexperienced managers that dont know what they are doing. Last minute cancellations. A frustrating and aggravating experience that all nurses should avoid.

Production is what they want
Don’t worry about it (Current Employee) –  CaliforniaDecember 22, 2017
Don’t be lazy here, make an effort to actually get things done, and you are solid. Do not listen to the people saying that you are “under paid” or that we’re “shady”. These remarks are coming from people that don’t understand basic math. When you work for ESP you are paid with taxes already deducted (specifically nurses). Not to mention if you are working diem, you are paid for mileage. Doesn’t matter how near or far you live from a facility you will still reap the benefits of per diem... don’t listen to people that don’t know what they are talking about, or at least never took the time to recognize/understand exactly how pay works. If you are concerned or curious, take the time to listen and you will understand the details....
Pros
Great people, hard workers. Stressful, but the inviroment is what makes it worth while.
Cons
Impatient nurses and facilities

Young recruiters, no training or discipline
Front End Manager (Former Employee) –  San Diego, CADecember 19, 2017
These folks have little grasp of how to do their job. They will say virtually anything at all, no matter how untrue or inaccurate.

Avoid the use of this recruiting agency at all cost, and, if you want a real future in HR or recruiting (why do you want to do this?) find another agency, one not in a tailspin...
Pros
Their phones work, today.
Cons
Liar, liar, pants on fire...

Nurse Recruiter (Former Employee) –  Thousand Palms, CADecember 9, 2017
Great People to work with but the company is unstable. Things change every hour. There is very little training when you first get started. The leads your given are old and retirees

Nurse (Former Employee) –  Dallas-Fort Worth, TXNovember 8, 2017
Refuse to provide simple pay stubs detailing exact dollar per hour and amount of taxes withheld. Promise you a $50 rate and end up making $35 /hr. and then all of a sudden no one remembers quoting you $50. Classify you as travel staff when you live 10 minutes from a work place.
Pros
Daily Pay
Cons
Paid MAYBE 65% of what you are owed

Great staff and gained a lot of joy and experience from this company
Certified Nursing Assistant (Current Employee) –  Rancho Mirage, CAFebruary 6, 2017
Working with ESP as a registry CNA has allowed me to work in different hospitals and interact with diverse populations. I learn something from each new environment while also getting to build relationships with the facilities I work more frequently. The staff at ESP Personnel are great at maintaining communication and keeping me up-to-date on opportunities for work. Although I see it as a great benefit to working in different environments, it also feels like the most challenging. Having to be oriented for each new facility and unit, asking where certain supplies are, and adapting to each respected facilities staff can feel daunting. Doing this allows me to meet new and interesting people in the medical profession; people who are succeeding, working hard, and reaching their goals. Meeting these people truly inspire me to do better for my patients and I find that to be one of the most enjoyable parts of my job.
Pros
Schedule autonomy
Cons
Shift cancellations
