The hiring process is relatively short, a few weeks from application to hiring. The interviews however, are extremely long. Expect to spend an hour or two during each phone interview, and at least 4-5 hours for your onsite interview. The onsite interview includes an industry knowledge test consisting of roughly two-hundred questions on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, worksite safety, etc. There is also a practical test where you must diagnose failures and repair a small pressure washer.

As of this writing; we have expanded to 6 locations, including a company-wide Operations Manager, 4 Regional Service Supervisors, Sales/Marketing personnel in multiple locations, and more. EST Companies is very unique for our size. We are a small company with the scope and breadth of a much larger corporation. This creates unique opportunities and challenges. Our goal is for every employee to find pride and satisfaction in being part of the company. We strive in our interview process to try and ensure positions are a good fit for the employee and the company. Sometimes; the fit is not right, either for the employee or for us as a company. It is always difficult when expectations are not met. We are proud of our annual company events for employees and families. Although this event was affected by COVID-19 we are planning to restart the event this year. This is an entire weekend event enjoyed by all employees which is very rare for a company our size. We also offer other unique benefits like our 5-year service award which consists of $5000 vacation stipend and an extra week of vacation.
