Some lower managers pretend to care about employees, and only care for themselves and will try to walk over you. Company refers to employees as family ,but treats you otherwise if situation is not in their favor.Co-workers are generally good as are certain managers who actually do not believe in cut throating to look good.

Really bad management at least here in San Antonio tx dispatcher will push you till your last minute on your drive Time while he sends home everyone else no equipment such as pallet jacks, dollys, etc trucks are always braking they will load your route to the end even double stack freight dockworkers will load your trailer full of broken pallets they don’t know how to re stack freight and make it look presentable no management will hold them responsible for there actions everything is always on the driver worst experience ever I was not happy there at all a lot of people will get hired and then they will quit cause they way they work you but it’s just my opinion everyone has different only good thing is the pay is good.

Good money no family time for dock workers. Its Every holiday they want you to work and no time with family. Drivers and office and shop get to be with there familys but the dock......get treated like we don't have a family or time for ourselves. The company has a lot of head honchos wich brings it down for stock investment even being a private company i mean look at the facts been in business for over 90 years and 5 to 8 billion in net worth. If they got rid of the honchos and listen to the employees there would be stock and time and leisure with family and maybe a 20 to 25 year retirement. I never thought of working at a company until I die.. But overall the dock gets treated unfairly 52 hours by overtime and Taxes will eat u up after 55......or now new law 50then OT. Dock takes alot of beating on your health and body.
