Its busy which is good but bad. It's true you don't ever get a lunch break on 10-12 shifts, NEVER! Some truly fabulous technicians and some are young and just figuring out calculations, blood draws thier is allot of unskilled mixed with highly skilled because turn over is so high. There is a lot of gossip vbosses jump right in, doctors complain about people. There is a ton of judgment being passed on the way a person looks. People with automatically think you have no money based off what you look like or the town you are from.
This is at Grayslake. It's busy, your coworkers can be extremely rude. There is absolutely no team work. Almost everyone talkes about each other. Doctor's talk about other doctors right in front of the technicians. (Especially the day time women DVMS) it doesn't matter if you do great. There is a huge lack of internal structure. If you are older and dont want or care to constantlydeal with drama. Pass you will be very happy you did. No lunches which is so illeagal.
I can only speak for the Bulger practice, it is a pretty negative atmosphere. A lot of the staff seem unhappy and the demanding aspect of the job can leave people moody.
