Learning & Development

At EMR, growing people through the business is important to us and we invest heavily in the skills of our workforce. We create many opportunities for progression, allowing each individual to develop their own career path. As part of our commitment to employees, we have a Learning and Development team dedicated to delivering training and support across all functions of the business. METAL RECYCLING GENERAL OPERATIVE APPRENTICESHIP (MRGO) The MRGO Apprenticeship is EMR Metal Recycling's tailor-made programme, designed to equip learners with the skills and tools required to work within the metal recycling industry. It is a Level 2 apprenticeship for people of any age. Across 12 to 18 months, it provides learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful in this sector.
