The girls that work there are typically nice but the manager is terrible!! She will lie to you, talk poorly about you, and never responds back to clients with questions/concerns.

Do not recommend.
This company has bad reviews for a reason. They don’t want you to take a single day off but they’ll rake in the money you make for them. They push you to wax as fast as humanly possible with little regards to the quality. They stress adding on services and pushing products on people that don’t want them. (Probably because all of their products are HEAVILY perfumed-even the ones for your face). Zero benefits, 5% commission on services and 10% on products which just goes to show you where their focus is (not customers and certainly not employees). I would run in the other direction.

Not worth it unless you’re desperate
Hours suck, you will have to work either a Sunday or Saturday, and you will be there all day. Every single week. Trying to take off is a joke, you’ll need to know a month in advance. When you start off they’ll give you bad hours because you’re new. This company ROBS their waxers of money. You get awful pay for the amount of work you do. They recently changed how they pay waxers and it has stripped us of money. No more percentages, now it’s tiers. They want you pushing their mostly bad products down customers throats and trying to add on services when you don’t have enough time to begin with. They want you to be a faster waxer within a month and will push you to do so otherwise you’re fired

The only thing that kept me coming back was I liked my job, coworkers, my manager, and my clients. The OWNERS are terrible. They don’t care about ANYONE. THEY ARE SELFISH AND HAVE NO BUSINESS OWNING A BUSINESS.

A good company to work for, if you enjoy pushing sales.
I like the business, but management always forced us to push sales even if someone had just purchased product/passes a week or so before, especially toward the end of the month.
There was an unspoken, forced division between waxers and front desk staff via management. Store management wanted to know what was going on with everyone at all times. Keeping up with the mental games and drama was too stressful, and not worth it.
The only place to park was Metro parking, and it cost $5 per day. The owners just tack on an extra dollar to your hourly wage to compensate.
If you want to get waxed, management basically makes you jump through hoops to have it done, even if you pay full price. Compared to some salons and even other locations, this center is super clean. I would get waxed there any day.
The music is really repetitive, and hasn't changed much since 2012.
The company's image and culture are amazing, but (at least at this location) the sales push, the drama, and the schedule weren't worth it.
