Eva's Village - About Us

Eva's Village breaks the cycle of poverty and addiction through our unique and integrated approach. Our interconnected community of recovery and support services, located on a 3-block campus in Paterson, NJ, helps thousands of men, women, and children each year by addressing basic needs of food and shelter, as well as complex issues around addiction, mental illness, and chronic homelessness.

Our model is unique. Our results are real. Our success is measured in lives - renewed, restored, and reborn.

Rose's Story

Just two years ago, Rose was homeless. She had lost custody of her two children and was deep in the throes of a heroin addiction . . . but the strength of her unbreakable bond with her kids led her to Eva’s Village, where she received the support she needed to start her recovery. Listen to her story. . .

Eva's Culinary School Celebrates Five Years of Transformational Investment

"I often tell people, if you want to see a miracle, come to Eva's. . . In the very beginning our focus was on feeding people. The programs we offer and the number of people we serve has grown dramatically through the years.. . . It's not just about picking you up and rehabilitating you, it's but also it's given you a path. . . .
