If you can’t trust the Owner, Who can you trust?

I don’t even know where to begin with this.
Let’s start with how you get no training, absolutely nothing. Maybe you are given a quick call about the system used for clients and hour you’re supposed to keep track of yoyr hours. You then get spammed with so many different emails about your new clients. You go to Meet & Greats alone, and if they are an established client already, you get to listen to how great their last dog/pet walker/sitter was and how they don’t want to pay for another Sitter Interview fee. So lets talk pay, it’s awful. There are theirs of pay and employee Titles. Doesn’t matter what your experience is, everyone starts out low. Ok fine, you can move up, except no one really ever does. There are ex employees who worked for Pat for years and never went up to the next level. You get no compensation for gas miles or drive time. I don’t expect both, just one or the other would be nice. Why? Because a 30 min drive to a client house to get paid $10.60 for a 30 min visit is horrible. So lets go back to the emails about Clients. Sometimes the owener will actually ask if you can handle or if you want a client he has. If you say no, he tries to talk you into taking them anyway. Then there are the ones he just sets up as yours without asking. That is just as bad as losing clients he has set up because he has taken too long to reply back to them when they requested service. The kicker, is finding out he has lied to clients about his own visits. He will pad his times, lie about when he was there, and not do everything asked of the service. These a little lives in his hands, people’s animals. It’s ridiculous.
