It was fine...in the beginning. I eventually was so stressed out that I dreaded going in! I would have to take a xanax daily just to deal with this place.

Actually I look forward to it. I'm not afraid of being met with a challenge. Just about everyday has at the very least a few. Whether it's a very angry patient that was upset about not receiving biopsy results yet, or another upset because she was charged a new patient office visit copay, when she hadn't been seen in 8 yrs, so essentially she was a new patient. It's all in a days work, put on a smile and just go about putting out the fire as kindly as possible. Often times I put myself in their shoes letting them know I understand why they're upset, and if I can't help them, there is always someone in our ranks that can. It may require a call back, but I promise my caller I will call back to make sure the issue had been resolved to their satisfaction. I always go the extra mile to be assured I did the best I could for our patient.

I liked it in the beginning but there is so much nonsense going on now. Calls are very fast paced and you aren't allowed any time to get your thoughts together outside of your 15 minute breaks. There's also a lack of communication with some things which adds to the stress.

I liked it in the beginning. I dreaded going in! It was not only stressful but I felt like a child. Way too many cliques and a hostile work environment. Underpaid for the stress!

Too much favoritism. So many less qualified less educated people get advanced for career. The rest of us work hard if not harder. Strict with missing work no doctors note allowed. Even if no prior call center experience these are the employees who are picked to advance in their career. 2 years and no advancement & definitely no help with career goals

They don't want qualified, educated people, only their friends and those they like. Most definitely a high school culture. IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, BUT WHO YOU KNOW.
Management snubs anyone below them.
Keep looking, there's other companies out there that value their employees and have a much better sense of integrity.
