Lack of employee appreciation and support. Management does not promote or support the idea of employees doing their job without constant interference and micro management. Evonik could be much more profitable without a layer of management that accomplished nothing while interfering with productivity of a department. Highly talented and motivated individuals will not tolerate the work environment or lack of leadership for an extensive period.
