Okay company
Paramedical Examiner (Former Employee) - Fairfax, VA - May 22, 2018
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedExamone is a what you make it type of company. The staff that assigns you to cases are good. The use of your personal items becomes hectic. The wear and tear on your vehicle and printer is enough to drive one crazy.

It was bad
Phlebotomist/Customer Service (Former Employee) - Rancho Cucamonga, CA - September 25, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? This place was horrible. I would like to say otherwise What is the most stressful part about working at the company? It’s misleading. You make more outbound calls almost like a telemarketer than you do draws What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It was frustrating to call the same people everyday and it was also boring What is a typical day like for you at the company? Just focusing on making outbound calls

What people like
- Energizing work tasks
- Clear sense of purpose
- Time and location flexibility
Didn’t like the work environment
Mobile phlebotomist (Current Employee) - Dublin ga - September 25, 2023
Scheduling was my biggest conflict. They will send you a hour away just for 1 appointment. If you have concerns about a appointment they will say oh well we have rescheduled too many times. So you will have to go to the appointment

Exam one call center
Call center (Former Employee) - Maryland Heights, MO - September 16, 2023
I work there when they still had a call center in Maryland heights. Very toxic environment. forced mandatory overtime You have to go home to your babysitter too bad, You're still working two more hours. Dress code changed weekly. If you earned a promotion for call quality then you got a bad call they would demote you and take your pay raise away. If you need call center training work here for 6 months and then get another job
Pros
I gave you a pizza party and you got one slice of pizza each
Cons
Not allowed to speak to anyone sitting around you You must stare at your computer only

No room for growth within the company, managers are outside hires
Examiner (Current Employee) - San Diego, CA - September 14, 2023
I have worked for ExamOne for 8 years and I can confidently say that there is no room to grow at ExamOne. Managers are outside hires w/ no experience
Pros
You make your own schedule
Cons
No full time available for those who want it, no healthcare, no room for growth within the company.

Great job
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Tampa, FL - September 6, 2023
The pay is good, the manager is amazing I do like working for this company. I am able to get a good amount of time off paid time off. A lot of being in the phone

The pay is insulting
Mobile Examiner (Current Employee) - Anchorage, AK - September 5, 2023
So not only are you only paid 20$ or so per exam, but mileage is not included at all. Meaning they can send you out to wasilla and all you’ll get is maybe 25$. Everyone knows that gas alone makes working for that little amount not worth it. Be cautious. If you’re expecting a livable income you’ll be saddened by what’s not being offered
Pros
Schedule flexibility
Cons
No mileage reimbursement

No communication would not recommend
Paramedical Examiner (Former Employee) - Avenue, MD - July 28, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Nothing Absolutely nothing I would confirm the night before with my patients and they would still send someone else making me waste my time and money to go to the home only to be sent back home What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The lack of communication between the office and the workers What is the work environment and culture like at the company? This company is not a place you can grow with to be completely honest I don’t recommend What is a typical day like for you at the company? Call my client and confirm head out to visit said patient draw blood take urine do vitals have them sign get home centrifuge label and ship specimens chart

Entry level work. No upward mobility.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - United States - July 24, 2023
Zero upward mobility. Leadership is dysfunctional. There’s no consistency with ‘company policies’ and you’re truly just a number. The best part of the job was the ability to work remotely. Then they changed that policy, but only for some employees. Very micromanaged.

Low pay rate/Hourly rate is only for training
Paramedical Examiner (Current Employee) - New Mexico - July 15, 2023
Pay rate is awful. $26/hr is ONLY for 1-2 hours of training. At first I really enjoyed it, the draws and exams combined rate varies from $13-$16 some specialty kits will pay $30 but not more. In combination with using your own vehicle and gas you are loosing money.
Pros
Experience
Cons
Unfair wage

A lot of work for not a lot of pay
Mobile Phlebotomist (Current Employee) - Madison, WI - June 27, 2023
The flexibilty of being able to make your schedule and if you enjoy working on your own and mostly from home, are the only real perks to this position. The pay is NOT. You are only paid per appointment completed so in order to make any real money you'd need to complete at least 40 appointments a week which is basically equivalent to working 40 hours a week, which sounds like an easy thing to do and they make it seem like it would be an easy task to do, but it is not. I live in a large city, Madison, WI and I only average about 15 appointments a week with fully open availability. So your pay is not consistent. You also have to do so much extra work outside of just going to the appointments that they do not pay you for. filing paperwork, making and scheduling your appointments is all NOT paid work you have to do.

Actual hours of work
Paramedical Examiner (Former Employee) - Chico, CA - June 6, 2023
They advertise a thirty hour work week. That was true for my training, however after five weeks I finally started having exams to do and only worked an average of four hours a week.
Pros
Work remotely
Cons
support is often from out of state, or far away

Not worth the time, exspeses, and GAS
paraexaminer (Former Employee) - Troy, MI - June 2, 2023
This is a fair weather job. It is based on demand and need. When I worked I seen little to no clients. I asked several times to the manager about availability and needed to work. Managment stated that "this is how it is, some days are good and some are very slow". This job is for an "extra money job" nothing more. You can take whatever days you want off, but what does it matter when your not working anyway. Also, the time needed after going to clients homes to do the paperwork at home is double, and you have to pay for your gas, printer ink, and paper so your actually makeing like 14-16 hour less gas ...so like 12-14 hour after everything is said and done. Again, NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY ....you end up loosing money after everything.
Pros
Work when you want
Cons
Waste of time, exspenses, and GAS

Great place to work and very flexible
Phlebotomist (Current Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - April 2, 2023
everyone is nice and friendly, once you get the hang of it, it’s easy, and the only problem is no one gets a raise. You don’t get paid for mileage. You drive your own car. The upside as you get to pick your hours and days whenever you want. And it is always a part-time job.
Pros
You get to pick your schedule
Cons
They never give raises at all, ever

Not terrible, not great also
Paramedical Examiner (Current Employee) - Lincoln, NE - March 30, 2023
You never really see your coworkers and you’re often in the field; driving from home to home. I was able to be placed into an office and got paid the hourly rate instead of the ‘per case’ rate. You get to make your own hours. Overall, I enjoyed it and I didn’t really mind working here
