What is the most stressful part about working at the company?There are times where we may be a little overextended, but that’s how Real Estate is overall, and to be expected. We always collaborate as a Team and finish the work.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?All inclusive, diverse, positive, opportunistic, and welcoming. You are valued as a person and treated as an adult should be. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Fast and fun, because of the fantastic people I work with. It’s a totally remote environment, but we all stay connected, and it’s amazing!

Fun workplace

I have nothing negative to say about eXp, they treated me very well. I was treated with respect at all times and they gave generous raises. I was laid off so that would be my only complaint but that is not their fault or mine, I would recommend them highly to anyone looking to join the operations team.

Fully remote company that is constantly innovating

The best out of all the brokerages I’ve tried.

Extreme fees

The fees are ridiculous comparatively. The documents needed are hard to find. No real life support. Everything is virtual. It’s great if you are hands off.

Good Technology-Kind of a Cult

I loved the website, the CRM, and the remote (no brick and mortar) nature of this brokerage. The founder and CEO is basically worshipped, to the point where he told people to go get a DNA test and several skeptics changed their minds on the spot. Very weird, even if it works. There is a weird celebrity-like worship of high producing agents where they are credited for being geniuses for making statements that are just platitudes.

Go for it: If you can provide your own leads

* Do your research and be honest with yourself about your ability to obtain your own leads. * Make your calls* Work your CRM* Be realistic about what to expect from others.* Sales is brutal. You will have to do it yourself if you expect to get it done.

Not the greatest brokerage. It did offer some training but mostly was all about recruiting newer agents to the company. Also everything was virtual so you really didn’t have an office to go to.

Make sure you find a good mentor

Terrible environment due to group I was part of. My mentor helped up front, but would hardly call it help. Made me copy contracts he had for offers I needed to submit on behalf of my client which isn’t how that’s done, not to mention sharing his clients information. Then just left me on my own shortly after, but was still making part of my commission from my deals. The company also pushes agents hard on recruiting other agents so they can create passive income from that. It’s basically what they focus on the most…and not so much real estate. Save yourself and look elsewhere where agents, especially a mentor actually cares about agent success and show it daily. Plus there are other brokerages that offer a better commission split, but that isn’t everything. Find a brokerage that you feel your best at and that offers you a lot, especially training, preferably for free as many offer. I moved to Real and love it, but it’s not for everyone which is why I say find what works for you! Even if that means changing brokerages however many times until you do. There’s absolutely NOTHING wrong with that, so dont think you have to stay at a brokerage in order to avoid looking a certain way to others. If it’s not a good fit, another brokerage will be. Trust and patience. Best of luck to all!

Their mentorship program is flexible and allows trainees to work with mentors from anywhere convenient to them.
