Okay place to work
Project Manager (Former Employee) - Seattle, WA - September 6, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood work life balance, pay wasn’t great though. Nice people and I only left for more money. Not necessarily a tech place so be mindful of that. But the company respects that people have lives outside of work.

Laid back
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Springfield, MO - September 14, 2023
Pretty simple work, lots of investigative work and using your brain but the help is there if you need it. Pay and pto are good and shifts are based off productivity

Nope
Analyst (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - August 15, 2023
This place is toxic. If you know you know, eventually you will despise your job and question your worth as a person who would stay in such a vile environment. The managers really were special. Switch faces. Never would I recommend, pseudo science is not a thing…darn near guessing. Guess and see if they fire you and not to mention constantly restricting tool use. I have PTSD from this toxic culture and can’t get the time wasted back

Fine
Analyst (Current Employee) - United States - August 14, 2023
Don’t settle, if you negotiate your pay you can raise your offer by 15k. Not a lot of opportunities to advance your career unless you interview into another team. Annual pay raises are very low (3% seems average) and no bonus

Team Build-up and Support
Lodging Support Service Associate II (Current Employee) - Springfield, MO - August 11, 2023
I have never been supported at another job. It could be the supervisor that was assigned to me or the team I am on, but I've never felt more supported in a workplace. My supe is constantly reaching out to make sure I'm doing okay or give some new information. My team is there whenever I need them and need to use the team chat. Our support channel is as quick as possible at delivering solutions. I might have hard days with difficult situations but it helps endlessly knowing I've got people at my back.
Pros
Free soda, free fruit, free coffee, comfortable seating, break area, ping-pong and arcade games

Nice place to work, but company is needs more direction
VP (Current Employee) - Seattle, WA - August 11, 2023
Nice work environment, but senior LT doesn't know what they want EG to be when it grows up. Teams are friendly and work environment is respectful. Almost too much as there are many early and late meetings to catch up with employees in different locations.

Good company choose the team wisely
Senior Software Manager (Current Employee) - Jordan, MN - August 11, 2023
Great company but you need to be in the right team The company seems to be in a rough position right now where all the major program are not delivering the value promised

Fun and great opportunity
Account Management Intern (Former Employee) - Chicago, IL - August 9, 2023
Initially went into this role thinking it was a marketing internship and later realizing that it is a sales role with cold calling. Personally, that was not for me, but it is a great opportunity for those who took advantage of it. Plus, this is a fun work environment, and all workers are kind and willing to chat/collaborate.

Okay job, terrible management
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - 5000 w kearney st, springfield missouri - August 3, 2023
The OMs at the Spring 2 location are awful and do not care about their employees. Sups are okay and I liked mine, but the job is not worth the OMs and the backlash from entitled customers.

Horrible upper management. Compny fosters backstabbing
Manager (Former Employee) - Austin, TX - August 2, 2023
Not a friendly company to work for. If you are not in a click you are done. Too much favoritism. Everyone is set to get evetyone else. Too much socialization between upper management and direct employees
Pros
Free frinks
Cons
Horrible Management. Cut throat culture

Jobs at Expedia Group
just awful
Software Engineer (Former Employee) - Seattle, WA - July 31, 2023
just awful, nothing to say. The manager works crazy, don't know own job, just push you and get compliments from the boss. Working here really stressful, you may get sick soon.

Lead Sales Concierge (Current Employee) - Orlando, FL - July 25, 2023
Loved my time at Expedia, met a lot of great people and got to experience numerous exciting events all while making money. Benefits are top notch, can not think of a company that does it better.

Just okay
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Springfield, MO - July 25, 2023
Benefits are good. PTO is good. Pay can be better. Wish we could work full time from home. Especially being an offline team. Managers definitely micromanage. Every supervisor is more corporate and less for the people.

Travel is a force for good.
Senior Director (Former Employee) - Seattle, WA - July 15, 2023
Great company mission and executive leadership team. A lot of restructuring year over year, with associated challenges. More of a 'let's start over' vs. let's build on what works culture.

Very business focused
Cash Allocation Coordinator (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - July 6, 2023
Pays well, good benefits, flexible, will let you go with no regard to your time there or dedication to your job or the quality of your work. Very clicky and if you don't fall within the popular protected clicks you are fair game. Other than that its a fun but stressful place to work.

Would be a very enjoyable place to work without all the woke nonsense.
Fraud Investigator (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - June 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The company really tries to take care of its people. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not that stressful. But there can be allot of stuff to learn. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very woke! Even here in the midwest, there was allot of "touchy-feely"BS that did not pertain to the job. They hire allot of people with odd "quirks". Very encouraging of LGBTQ and feminist culture. Which that is personal stuff that should not be in the workplace. As a male who just wanted to be left alone and do my job, I felt I really had to watch my "p's & q's". Don't want to mis-gender anybody or use my "white privilage". What is a typical day like for you at the company? In at 8:00, set up. Take two 15 minute breaks and hour for lunch. But allot of remote work as well.

Can be hit or miss
Lodging Financial Services Coordinator (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - June 13, 2023
You can get lucky and have a great job and manager, ir be screwed with a terrible job and manager. The atmosphere was good at one time then it kind of went downhill and sometimes you're on egg shells
Pros
Good benefits and decent atmosphere on some days
Cons
Micromanagement, hit or miss with management, sometimes random layoffs due to company issues

risky
Geographer (Former Employee) - Bellevue, WA - June 6, 2023
It's risky working here because you don't know where you're going. the most enjoyable part of the job- ping pong. the hardest part of the job- people.
