It normally takes between a week to get hired once application has been pulled. Then you have to go through a tobacco training test which allows the cashier to understand the meaning of selling to a minor. After that we have a training course we take each new applicant through to make sure they understand the basics of the position and get a knowledge about the cash register. Once training is completed the cashier is then able to work full shift days.
