Fun work place
Cashier (Former Employee) - Ashburn, VA - July 11, 2017
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI can talk about typical night instead, because here I how to work over night. We had a young manager who was also cool but serious when it come to work. you have to be there and on time. The hardest part of the job was when there was no customer showing up; and the most enjoyable was when it got busy.

Exactly what you would expect. Decent job. Long hours. Steady income. Quality employees. Not hard if your looking for something easy. Not the best money.

I'd rather have an arm ripped off by a baboon than work for Exxonmobil again
Agile Coach (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - December 6, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The only good thing about XOM is the stability. The company is not going anywhere so you know that won't be an issue for you. However, they treat everyone like a resource to be squeezed, not human beings with lives or interests. Company first and second. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? working for a company that is accelerating climate change and who has known of their hugely negative impact on the earth for decades What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Surface level friendly while ultimately being a popularity contest

Very casual environment
Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) - Grass Valley, CA - December 1, 2023
The owner had a sense of humor but always was serious when it came to dependability and time management . When it comes to family emergencies he tries to work with that . It's satisfying to see customers happy when you can fulfill their needs
Pros
Taking breaks when it's slow
Cons
Not getting a lunch because of quantity of employees on each shift

Wasn't great
Cashier (Former Employee) - Leechburg, PA - November 23, 2023
The pay wasn't great. The manager wasn't the greatest either. The people weren't bad but some made it challenging. My coworkers where amazing. I don't think I'd work there again.

Productive and learning experience
Customer Service Associate (Current Employee) - Medford, MA - November 22, 2023
Great place with for all concerned & plenty ways to screw up & learn as you do it. Customers as a gas ⛽️ station with both gas & diesel products along with drinks, cigarettes. At the end if closing you end day

Huge Org and predetermined destiny
Financial Analyst (Former Employee) - Irving, TX - November 21, 2023
Good pay to begin for Treasurer’s, but the company decided when you are hired how high you can rise. If you aren’t getting great performance feedback in your first year, then leave. You won’t get the best rotations. If you do get those high ratings, it’s a great place to be.

Big corp full of talented people who leave for better opportunities
Data Analyst (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - November 1, 2023
Large corporation with a variety of opportunities to contribute. Culture is rather poor and incentivizes you to blend in and stick to "proven methods" rather than propose innovative ideas. WLB heavily depends on role and manager.
Pros
Good benefits in terms of 401K (you put in 6% they give you 7%), healthcare
Cons
Strict culture, no remote work

Great people to work with and decent management
Instrument Technician (Current Employee) - Channahon, IL - October 24, 2023
Enjoyed working here and would continue working there but I was on a co-op employment through JJC and was only a year long. You learn a lot and see a lot and get to troubleshoot freely at time.

Good for what it is
Operator (Current Employee) - Central TX - October 24, 2023
The focus on innovation is to the point nothing ever gets finished. They value change for the sake of change without any improvement in processes. Create, move-on leave someone else to figure out the kinks.

Cashier (Former Employee) - Hampstead, NC - October 24, 2023
A little bit of drama some people don’t want to pull their part of work so you gotta pick up their slack but overall it was OK place to work. Definitely not bad but not the best.

Good to gain experience
Engineer (Current Employee) - Baytown, TX - October 9, 2023
Great place to learn but work life balance is nonexistent. A lot of great benefits in the compensation package and great relocation packages! I enjoyed it for some time.
