Remove 90% of Management and bring in individuals will a true skill base and the understanding of emotional intelligence. Keep the current operations team and manager; expand the quality team by 50% and drive home positive work culture. A culture that is truly happy, transparent and provides team building is a culture worthy of failure. Management does not even associate directly with the front line and the company is not even that large. This company could be something truly amazing if they would hire individuals based upon skill and personality rather than hiring people they know personally. An even leadership team (male/female ratio) would be ideal as ideas are generated more effectively when a personal agenda is not being met. Encourage and require managers to be involved with their team rather than placing a manager in a glass box to read emails all day. Encourage face to face interactions with multiple departments to build team work as emails get misconstrued creating walls.
