It would be truly equitable and student centered, and not just give lip service to equity and students’ needs. FCPS is known for saying one thing and doing the other. It’s a gaslighting work culture, from the top down.

As educators the expectation is for us to put most of our income back into the classroom. There is little training or support, the teachers really run the school and make sure the student needs are met. It is a great responsibility that has had a damaging affect on me and I have left the district.

Very fast paced environment. Management puts a lot of requirements and stress on you, and expects you to get it all done in little to no time. If you don't get it done during your planning periods, you're taking it home or having to stay after work hours with no extra pay.

There are different kinds of leaves , sick leave, personal leave etc, per year i believe 16 days that were.
