This company does NOT APPRECIATE hard working employees. Management AND colleagues in KO DEPARTMENT are condescending, patronizing and passive aggressive yet will accuse you of being the same.
You are paid well to deal with an inferior and subpar general manager who CONSTANTLY micromanages. This causes more chaos than assistance and ultimately making oneself feel inferior and subpar.
Prepare yourself to deal with people who are spoiled and don't want to be there, so they torture you instead. Management asks that you keep internal affairs internal and that you don't involve outside colleagues like HR aka "Talent and Culture." Yet, when you discuss issues that need to be dealt with they listen, yet don't do anything about it. This review is in regards to the general manager of the restaurant and several of the colleagues working FOH positions.
The former kitchen worker who left a review previously is DEAD ON in his description of management and how they treat employees. The favoritism amongst management and colleagues is also evident.
They have a "Heartist" initiative that encourages emotional intelligence yet they have no idea how to practice this. You are walking into a BIG JOKE if you plan to work at Ko Restaurant.
Otherwise, executive management is kind and does stop to talk when in passing.
I CANNOT WAIT TO BE DONE WITH THIS HORRID PLACE. But, uh, good luck to ya...

This is dependant on the position and department. For instance, there will always be a Front Desk Agent working 24 hrs, while in comparison, Talent & Culture (aka. HR) is only open standard business hours Monday through Friday.
