Left because favoritism was shown..the DM would call from a blocked # so you couldn't call and bother him..They wanted me to drive 2 1/2 hours away for ASM training for two weeks straight(there and back). I told them I couldn't afford the gas and it didn't work with my kids school schedule and they didn't care..i was the only one on the register in a 14 HOUR shift more than once while every one else stocked and played around. It was so unprofessional.

I quit because my store manager decided to hire her sister an her sisters daughter. I didnt really care about it because its her buisness if she doesnt care to get in trouble but then she decided to tale away my hours an another sales person hours am give it to the daughter. Then she took away the other managers hours am gave it to her sister. There was a lot of favoritsm involved.

WILL Be leaving family dollar because I am the only person working the register for 8-9 hours alone. Managers have poorly attitudes towards employees and customers. The store is not safe either

Got tired of the drama. My boss CONSTANTLY talked about others and the DM didn't do anything to stop her. I was never given the position I was promised and when I asked about it they said no one was gonna move up. They are constantly cutting hours. Pay isn't good. I would NOT reccomend working here

I left because I was being harassed and being retaliated against by training managers and the DM was not doing anything about the issue so I quit flat out.

I was an ASM and I left because I got the flu (on top of other preexisting conditions) and was unable to make it to work. I brought my Manager a note from my Doctor AND the hospital yet she wanted a full medical diagnosis. She became openly hostile at this point.

Left because of poor leadership. Manager would leave whenever, talk on the phone constantly, and be very rude and disrespectful when asking for a day of due to family matters. Would also ask employee 10 min before the shift ended to take over thier shift because they claim to have stuff to do although the manager needed to saty for 4.
