School Social Worker (Current Employee) – Huntington, NY – July 3, 2019
Pay is low, benefits are horrible if you have a spouse or family. PTO is great! That is the literal only perk. My supervisor was great, lovely, helpful and kind but others were not. They don't care about you only the bottom line. This is only my experience in my work location.
Pto, hour long lunch
pay, health benefits, on call hours, late nights, weekends

Not a great place to work for rather work for McDonald’s. A lot of individuals that work there that acts like they are better than everybody and that would be the Vice President of housing and homeless service she is absolutely RUDE and doesn’t care about the well being of others
Health Home Care Coordinator (Former Employee) – Bayshore, NY – April 19, 2019

There is no respect for personal business in the workplace. Poor management. Staff is also are very cliquey including directors. It does not matter if you have a degree or not, you will still get paid around minimum wage.
Not Saying (Current Employee) – Not saying – October 17, 2018
FSL is not what it used to be. The old guard is gone and with them the original credo is gone too. New management has taken over and they have no regard for good clinicians & lack deep consideration for clients. It’s all about stats. They treat the chart and not the patient. It’s a sad state of affairs at FSL. The original mission of FSL has been driven into the ground. Shame on them.
Great client experience
You’ll be pressured to treat the chart and not the client
Care Coordinator (Current Employee) – Amityville, NY – August 21, 2018
The staff is very supportive, but the clients can eventually take a toll on a person. You do get to schedule your days out which gives the worker some control. I learned about various healthcare systems. Management is good for the most part. Burn out at this job is very high. The most enjoyable part of the job is the large amount of time off.
Flexible hours, learned knowledge of healthcare systems, management is supportive for the most part
Assistant Office Manager (Former Employee) – Mastic, NY – June 22, 2018
Busy periods during the work day. I learned about substance abuse, scanning, intake processes, scheduling method used by the agency and other office procedures. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
Close to my home for easy travel.
Poor management and very little teamwork which was not encouuraged by the local Management

Security Guard (Current Employee) – Huntington, NY – June 20, 2017
I love protecting and serving the individuals that I'm in charge of and whoever is in charge of me. IT has taught me never view yourself higher than who your put to serve. I've seen almost every walks of life and I have learned to embrace their diversity and situational differences.
