As in all business, we have ups and downs. We believe the future of banking overall and our approach to serving members is bright! So far, 2018 is looking to be a strong year. Job rotations, personal development and an empowerment culture are helping our team members gain strong foundational knowledge of the banking industry and providing personal service to our customers. Banking is ever-evolving and we are doing our part to offer products and services (such as mobile banking, remote deposit capture, competitive interest rates, etc.) to exceed our customer needs. Overtime hours are kept to a minimum to respect work/life balance. Customer contact departments typically have rotating schedules between 7AM and 7PM with a 1 hour lunch break. Additionally, 3 weeks advanced notice is provided in the event of schedule changes. Some departments also have Saturday hours.

Medical* - Farm Bureau Bank offers premier medical benefits with top rated insurance companies to full time staff and their dependents.

Dental* - Dental insurance is offered to full time staff and their dependents.

Vision* - Vision insurance is offered to full time staff and their dependents.

Life Insurance - Full time employees are provided a life and AD&D policy at twice their annual salary at no cost.

Long Term Disability - Full time employees are provided with Long Term Disability at no cost. Benefits are payable after the employee is unable to work for 90 days.

Flexible Spending Accounts - Tax-deferred spending accounts are available to employees for medical and dependent care expenses.

RETIREMENT BENEFITS
401K - All employees will be automatically enrolled at a 5% contribution after 30-days from the date of hire. Farm Bureau Bank matches up to 5% dollar for dollar with immediate vesting upon deposit. Employee contributions will be automatically increased by 1% every year on January 1 for a max of 15%. Employees will have the option of "opting out".



EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT
Education Assistance Program - Farm Bureau Bank reimburses employees $2000 - $3500 for eligible expenses after competing 1 year of service. Reimbursement is based on grades.

Training and Development - Farm Bureau Bank provides training classes to assist employees with personal and professional development.



OTHER BENEFITS
Employee Assistance Program - This program is available to all employees and their dependents with various support services including emotional, financial, and legal counseling at no cost

Employee Referral Program - Staff employees are eligible to receive $500 - $1000 for a qualified referral who is hired and successfully completes the required period.

Employee Benefit Program - Special discounts are available to Farm Bureau Bank employees and their immediate family members on installment loans, CDs and Gift Cards.

Free Checking Accounts - Employees may open two personal accounts. Accounts include free checks, unlimited check usage, online banking, mobile banking, and ATM rebates up to 5 transaction per cycle.

Hours worked each day can vary based on department and business needs. A typical work day is 8 hours Monday through Friday anytime between 7 AM and 7 PM. Customer contact departments also work 4 - 8 hours on Saturday. Additionally, a 10 hour x 4 day schedule is offered in select areas.

Many of our applicants are existing team member referrals. In fact, we recently revised our Team Member Referral Program to $1500.
