Part of the problem is that package handlers are short started and get little to no training which in turn affects negatively on the drivers because the trucks don't get loaded correctly. It would help if loaders showed up on time and worked the full shift instead of leaving early to go to their other job. Left me with more work. Not cool.

My interview is only through phone. They just ask bout the sched.. How did i apply.. It's so simple questions it will just take 5 mins.. Then after a few days they called if i'm still interested and they will gonna schedule me for orientation..

Yes they do and they go back I know for a fact they go back to at least 2007 on background checks reason I know this is because I was hired 6-22-2020 pending a background check and I had a felony in 2007 and that showed up so I didnt get the job .Hope this help you

The shifts at the station that I worked were preload and outbound. Preload is an early AM shift usually 2 or 3 am until done. Outbound was 4pm till done. The shifts are not flexible. If you show up late who is supposed to handle the packages that you are responsible for? If you leave early who is supposed to handle the packages you are responsible for. You asked for a job, you got the job, just do the job.

Very fast paced work. A lot of package handlers quit within hours of their first day. But if you’re a real man it’s fun.

Just received offer from fedex part time courier driver and have a test scheduled for next Tuesday (away for funeral till then) so here in Texas the answer is yes they do test pre hire don't apply if you're not clean. Physical same day also
