  • Yes they do and they go back I know for a fact they go back to at least 2007 on background checks reason I know this is because I was hired 6-22-2020 pending a background check and I had a felony in 2007 and that showed up so I didnt get the job .Hope this help you

  • No, FedEx will not hire felons in Illinois. Illinois also had unlimited access to background. They can go back 50 years if they want to. I have applied 3 times (I know a FedEx contractor) and finally got a letter from corporate saying my past felony conviction made me ineligible for employment.

  • I worked in HR and each case is looked at individually. Many factors determine if someone with a felony is hired. What was the felony, how long ago was it, had the person had a stable work history and stayed out of trouble for a substantial period of time etc. Background checks are done and if you lie about a record they will know.
