A few good apples on a dead tree
General Manager (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVMay 7, 2019
The district managers have no clue, and if they make you a manager you can’t mark any decisions your really just a lead. Under staffed to meet quota and over worked to make profits. For the sake of your health and wellness STAY AWAY.... I was a GM

Cook/Prep (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMarch 12, 2019
When hired in it was promised that the westin hotel was a family friendly place to work for, however it was completely the opposite! Many inappropriate things were and still is being done by upper management. If you make a complaint, you are immediately harassed continuously, you are hired in for one position but are give duties outside of your position, though you are told you're getting paid a certain amount an hour, you're not, nor are you going to get the ft hours as promised. The employees who have been there for many years are very kind that was the plus side.
Pros
Working with the older employees
Cons
In correct pay, hours and poor management.

Great place for accountants to learn everything about accounting.
Not much room for growth since the accounting department is smaller than in most industries.

Great food, less opportunity. Upper leadership did not always promote the right people. Great food, great wine, passion for all things service oriented.

Bartenders make less than servers.
Bartender (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 10, 2017
This is the only restaurant in 15 years of employment that I made less as a bartender than I had as a server. Management is generally unconcerned about employee satisfaction. Their only focus seems to be sales and guest satisfaction. They cannot currently staff any of their restaurants fully because of the brain drain to Ford Fry's group. Beware of management telling you how much you will take home. Highly suspect check-out procedures also occur regularly. This used to be a reputable and well-respected restaurant group it is no longer.
Pros
Quality food and drink
Cons
Management is generally apathetic to employee concerns

Company Growing To Fast
Server / Trainer / Host (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMay 19, 2017
The company has grown into an environment that was directly contrary to the group I had sought when hired. Focus has shifted from customer service and employee loyalty to profit and sales. I was no longer involved in fostering mine or my customer's knowledge of food but rather forced to justify lower standards at higher prices. I believe in providing personal service to my customers that builds lasting relationships through trust. This was no longer an environment where that was encouraged.
Pros
Staff, Customers
Cons
Management and Profit seeking over service.
