Don't do it.plain and simple
If you have a pulse, they will hire you.
However, FIRST CITIZENS BANK was an overly conservative organization that intentionally waited to start their onboarding processes for employees that transitioned from Guaranty Bank to FCB because they needed people to answer all of their incoming calls due to their acquisition of Guaranty Bank and the extremely high call volumes. Thus, they intentionally waited to onboard everyone so that they had enough bodies to cover all the calls at the call center, because they knew that they would lose a lot of people during that process. Then once the calls started to slow down, they ran their background checks and searched for reasons to let people go. i.e. -- I was getting paid too much and my felony has nothing related to the job at hand, but they used that as an and excuse and let me and many others go. If it was such an issue then why was it ok for me to work for Guaranty Bank in the first place? Not to mention, they were very rude in the way that they let me go, showing no empathy whatsoever.
