Job duties are pretty much the same everyday routine, plenty of interactions with customers, the staff makes it a great place to work, the Managers can add a lot of stress on employees. If they would jut let the Tellers do the customer transactions without having to try to see them products that they don't need it would be a much better environment. They should hire a team to sell products and let the Tellers commit to giving excellence to the customer and their needs only

I worked as a head teller and in charge of my cash drawer and the money in the vault. I enjoyed my direct manager and fellow employees. I trained new employees and loved every minute of it. I love math and unfortunately one day while county money to send to the federal reserve, I neglected to count a bundle of cash so my ticket to the federal reserve was more that what I had counted. It was a simple mistake and because of being out on a regular basis with my sick child I think it all played into my being told to resign or get fired. I would however love to work at a bank again, I loved the contact with the customer and helping the customers and the other employees were like family.

The company is very diversed, friendly, and overall great company to work for. I was hired in at Best bank as a Assistant Branch Manager. unfortunately. Best Bank is now closed. It was one of the best job experiences that I have ever had.

Working at First Citizens Bank prove to be rewarding and frustrating. The work atmosphere was friendly and everyone seam to be helpful. Training was very good, learning new products and work task were made easy. Management was supportive and stood behind employees most of the time. Customs were the best got to know quit a few of them. What was so frustrating was not being able to find other jobs within the company.
Great company with incredible leadership. They truly care about the customer. They are conservative in their actions but that is because they are concerned with the future of the market and the safety of their customers assets.

Handled calls from customer that were upset about their accounts and needed a more comprehensive understanding of their accounts and transaction history. Handled more of the daily operational items assigned to the department while merger with First Citizens is still going on.

They pay and benefits through Guaranty Bank is amazing, don’t get me wrong. But for the entire year I worked for this company I was stationed at a branch by myself at 19 years old with no previous banking experience and no employees. I would have to work with somebody new each day because legally I can’t open the branch alone. The only time I ever experienced working with a manager was on my last two days when my manager had me stationed at her branch for no apparent reason.
