stressful long days
collector (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXApril 16, 2019
Don't expect to have a life working here, 10-12 hours expect daily to reach goal for end of month. huge lack of communication from managers, 7 days straight of work will happen (a weekend off is a blessing). time must be made up if off for vacation (then whats the point).prime example of being over worked and spit out when you are no longer needed. fair warning of whats to come working for this company!
Pros
free food and good cultural environment
Cons
plenty of changes, no structure, no communication

Regional Manager-Western Region (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXFebruary 25, 2019
The company seems to be steeped in a culture that does not adapt to change in business models in the industry. Too much emphasis on the past, not enough on the future

Sr Support Analyst - Systems Administrator (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GANovember 15, 2018
First investors focus is on performance, there is room for growth as the company has expanded its portfolio holdings.

Management is very open and relatable, and you must be able to work independently as they do not micromanage

Overall a great place to learn and develop in corporate culture

Cons: compensation is NOT competitive
Pros

A typical day for me would be to run reports, process invoices, sort mail, sign for UPS and FedEx Packaging as well as send out UPS or FedEx Packaging. I really felt that the great asset to each department I was able to work with.
Pros
Company is alway doing something for their employees

It was a little far from home.

Don't expect to not have to stay all night if you finish your work, they will make you pick up the slack for the lazy workers just to meet the goals.

Very nice place to work, Lots of overtime. It's not very good on family . The business needs can be mandatory, You may have to work longer without notice to family. Schedule changes a bit without notice. . Over all the people are great and I would recommend the job. .

HORRIBLE PAY & HOURS. Overworked, under paid!! Managers don’t care about you. Get credit experience for at least a year, and then get out ASAP. Run!!!
Pros
Experience
Cons
Micro management, lack of pay, “ghetto” employees and upper management, no work life balance. 10+ hour shifts. MANDATORY 2 hours OT per shift required if busy

Productive and a family oriented environment. Everyone knows each other and works well in certainly department s.
Bankruptcy Clerk/Bankruptcy Specialist (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAApril 19, 2018
I worked for this company for 10 years. It was a very good place to work for and the work wasn't hard at all. I loved the fact that we could dress as business casual and casual. The only thing that could be better for this company is there management. They could train them on being more professional and how to treat and talk to employees. I'm only referring to the newer managers that were hired in 6 years of me working there.
Pros
Benefits, paid time, family oriented atmosphere and dress code
Cons
Healthcare, management and pay

Decent Place to work
Credit Analyst II (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXApril 11, 2018
Decent place to work. Hours vary depending on your dept. The workplace is what you make it. In some dept the hardest part may be the end of the month with when mandatory OT is required which may include unnecessary Saturdays. Fairly secure job. Management could use more development. Its corporate America. I would return if opportunity ever presented itself.
Pros
Overtime

Collector II (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJanuary 29, 2018
The workplace culture was very harsh a lot of profanity, a lot of chaos. You had a lot of mature people that didn't get involved with the drama. Too much wrong doing was tolerated by those they showed favoritism to.
Pros
It's nice when you start.
Cons
Too much inconsistency

Not the best company to work for. There is no work life balance and the managers I honestly don't even know what to say about them, they are that bad. The employees are over worked and under paid. Some departments are treated better than others. They just overall do not care about you.

Productive environment. Collections is an interesting career. The workplace culture is cutthroat and it has been the most challenging for my career. I learned how to handle irate and elderly customers with a real talent. I learned how to be very patient.
Pros
Good eating venues outside of job
Cons
Micro managed, lack of leadership
