OK place to work
Scrum Master (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 24, 2018
Work culture is Ok. Management is very traditional. Too many meetings in a day without arriving a desired solution They are very conservative and does not believe in new technologies. They treat contractors as slaves.

Too many changes executed in the name of re-org in the past 2 years. Benefits are ok ok and timing is mostly flexible. They provide subsidized food in the cafeteria and it is good.

If you are willing to work hard.....
Executive Assistant (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 4, 2018
There is really no work life balance - but if you work hard... you will be compensated. Upper management does NOT really care and they say they value family but really make you feel ad if you have to take time off for your kids or if you call in sick.
Pros
The Cafeteria
Cons
No work life balance

Contractor heavy. Middle Management is suffocating.
Project Manager (Contractor) (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CAJune 1, 2018
This bank is strange. People are polite in large groups but are extremely aggressive and me to juniors behind closed doors.

It is very heavily dependant on Contractors.
Middle Management really likes talking down to people.

nice team
ETL Developer Contingent (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAMay 19, 2018
the tech team is large and they are all really nice and helpful. once you deliver your first piece they give you a lot of freedom. they like to take parametrization out to the Nth degree.

some tools are well standardized (like infa) and other tools like SSIS they don't really know what to do with.

you get assigned to a project where there's either a BA, DA, or a business person and those can vary from pleasant and rational to moody and cranky. it just depends on your luck.

the cafeteria is excelent! very tasty sandwiches!

the upper management is straight out of downton abbey: they like to wear ties and bow ties and fancy shoes and suits are always smiling graciously and hosting friday afternoon parties with wines and liquors and so on. very quaint! but they're nice though.
Pros
nice tech team and tasty sandwiches
Cons
occasional stress from cranky biz people

Great if you are part of the company
CORPORATE SECURITY ANALYST (Current Employee) –  New York, NYMay 9, 2018
The contractors have to suffer with low earnings and not enough hours to make a living. The managers are strict and have not empathy. Meanwhile the actual bank employees are treated like gold.

marketing associate (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAMay 8, 2018
Company is growing too fast and can't keep up with growth. Teams are un organized and they don't have proper processes in place yet for the marketing team.

Great boutique bank!
Electronics Delivery Manager (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAMay 8, 2018
A great starting point of my career jsut having moved to San Francisco. The bank was small in size and throughout my tenure in my role, I contributed to its growth in that time. The workplace was exciting and it was something fresh everyday.

The professional mobility within the bank was bountiful, expansion was the vision of the bank. Additional bank were increased in new states in the west coast and a whole new presence occupied the east.
Pros
Great advancement opportunities

ERM (RCSA) Project Analyst (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAMay 7, 2018
Fast-paced, well-balanced workplace; professional and attentive to internal as well as external customer relationships. My work was primarily remote with trips to San Francisco for 3-5 days each month. Cannot laud the wonderful traits of this company enough.

An honest take?
Technical Lead (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAApril 30, 2018
Requires long hours and an unpredictable schedule. Instructions from management are often confusing and constantly changing. Not much room for feedback or taking on interesting projects. Very political.

Good company, Good pay but no room for growth
Senior Associate (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CAApril 17, 2018
Love the company values and culture ad appreciate the decent pay however, there's no room for growth. I love that my current job has taught me to multi task, pay extra attention to detail and overall encourage me to be more competent. I've developed better work ethic, communication and multi tasking. I just wish the technology was up to date, didn't waste this much paper and promoting people immediately after hiring them. Love the discounted lunch and two cafes with different menus!
Pros
good pay, good morals

it's a very stressful place to work.
Private Client Service Associate (Current Employee) –  New York, NYApril 2, 2018
Sometimes I feel like I can loose my job if a banker is having a bad day. It's very stressful when you have a heavy work load and you can't even ask the bankers to help out by doing their own work, but the pay is great!

Private Banker (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 15, 2018
The company itself was great to work for. However, the pressure of sales and the clientele was also not really good. High maintenance. The managers, some of them were ok.
Pros
Good pay nice people
Cons
Commission sales pressure
