I enjoyed working at First Step,inc.

I left to further my education. Felt it was time to move on.
I felt the calling for the medical field. I felt i could help more people.
Pros
Taking care of the kids.teaching them songs, playing games, etc.
Cons
part-time, no benefits, split shift.

Nice place to work the pay except the pay isn’t enough and you do not get that many hours and it’s a very long time before you are able to work in the classroom with the children

I had various tasks ranging from office work to answering the domestic violence hotline. I also helped to welcome families to the shelter and acclimate them to the new environment.
