Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI found a job closer to my home and they wouldn’t let me get that job. They wanted me to stay where I was at which was about 45 mins from my house. You would’ve thought they would let me be closer to my house.

The good thing is you get a job fast. The bad thing is is if you need a drivers license
Janitor (Former Employee) - Baltimore, MD - June 5, 2023
You can get hired fast and show up for interviews the same day you call. The bad thing is they are required drivers license to work some of the jobs.

Poor Hourly Pay,Poor Management and Poor Communication Skills
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) - Hermitage, TN - August 22, 2022
Treats you like your worthless and serious under pay. No matter how much experience you have this place is ran by favoritism. Typical work day consists of your coworkers no the phone the whole time and you having to take up all their slack…. I mean at first they made it seem like it was all good then within 2 weeks the true colors were shown.

Fast pace and moving 24/7
Package Handler (Current Employee) - Upper Marlboro, MD - April 16, 2022
Its organized and you know what to expect everyday coming in. The weekends are off and they also have many benefits. The only thing is standing on your feet for a certain amount of time gets tiring.

Unstable and false advertisement of work hours and compensation .
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) - Upper Marlboro, MD - March 1, 2022
First team staffing had unstable and false advertisement of work hours and compensation . I was told that I was being hired for a FULL TIME on call warehouse position . I ended up only working for 30 to 50 hours a month and sometimes sat around weeks to a month w/o work. Also, when you call in for scheduling the admin team isnt professional or helpful .

The company it self is a great company but the office in Columbia is by far the worst office/temp agency to work for.
Customer Service (Current Employee) - Baltimore, MD - January 3, 2022
The company it self is a great company but the office in Columbia is by far the worst office/temp agency to work for. The communication is horrible even with upper management they are all about make money and not making sure there people are good.

Management and workplace culture
Former employee (Current Employee) - Maryland - November 19, 2021
Corporate office will will micromanage the employees of each branch while also telling you that you need to get your work done independently. The company requires over 40hrs/week but will not provide any compensation for the mandatory out of office hours that they have you working and they prefer for you to work through your lunches. I currently work in a very toxic environment where there are branch managers within the company that are completely inappropriate with how they speak about both office employees and the employees that we hire for staffing purposes, although we have learned to not bring up anything negative about the branch managers because our complaints are not taken seriously and we usually ended up in trouble by our managers for bringing it up in general.
Pros
Hour lunches
Cons
Overworked and underpaid, inappropriate “office banter”, no real room for advancement

Something for everyone and management pushes you to be better.
Recruiter (Current Employee) - Nashville, TN - November 13, 2021
Day to day stress has increased due to recently economy changes and getting candidates out to work has been harder than ever but we literally have something for everyone. Management pushes you to do better not only for the company but for yourself and there’s always room for promotion. As a whole, we have fun at the office and try to place people into jobs temporarily or temp to perm based on the employees needs and availability. If you need a job for a week, or for a year, we got you. Admin, recruiting, clerical, light industrial, warehousing.
Pros
Health Insurance, Room for promotion

Work/ Life Balance and Flexibility
Business Development (Current Employee) - Nashville, TN - October 20, 2021
I've been here for two years. I don't have much interaction with corporate and although there have been very few advancement opportunities, I will say they pay to market and they're extremely understanding/ flexible when it comes to personal health or family matters.
Pros
pay, hours, off weekends, lunches, company incentives, and bonuses
Cons
little advancement opportunities

Family and Freedom
Sales Executive (Current Employee) - Tennessee - September 16, 2021
They do not micro manage. Probably one of the highest paying staffing firms around for internal staff. They’re family oriented and understand when you have family/ medical emergencies!
