Flexible work environment. Some decent people to work with.
Company does provide opportunities to grow, but limited direction - property management.

Salary and benefits are the down side, that is why they have trouble keeping good employees. No bonuses for regular employees, no profit sharing, no material incentives of any kind.

Management is a joke. No one takes their work here seriously, it's all gossip and micromanaging. No chance for advancement. There is no leadership, no training, no set guidelines or policies to adhere by. Management expects you to do your job well and be on time when they do not follow that rule themselves. Management behaves friendly at first, then if they're having a bad day or stressed out about something outside of work, they try and take it out on you or behave as if you are there to listen to their personal problems.

Pool Operator (Former Employee) - Kansas City, MO
a typical day at work starts at 7, I would go to about 4 pools and make sure maintenance was up to date and check the pool chemicals. This was a great summer job to have because I got done everyday at a decent time so I could still hang out with friends and get things done during the day.
Pros
Short work day
Cons
early start to the day, not alot of hours

Management not present. A lot of micro-management and over-critique that doesn't level with pay/work-demand. I never felt empathy from management for employee's unique encounters with residents. No valuable incentives for productive employees.
Pros
simple
Cons
short breaks, no lunch, not much incentive
